Transparency

Nothing in themiddle is hidden.

Programmatic advertising earned its reputation for opacity. We aim to let each side of the market see what happened to its money, its inventory and its audience.

For advertisers

What an advertisercan see.

Every app where ads ran

Reporting runs down to the app bundle, so you can see the exact placements your budget bought and block any of them.

Spend and outcomes by app

For each app you see what was spent and what followed, which shows where results are real and where they are only claimed.

The holdout result beside attribution

Lift measured against the holdout group is shown next to the figures from your measurement partner, so the two can be read together.

Frequency delivered

You see how often each person was shown an ad, so you can judge whether a cap did its job.

For publishers

What a publishercan see.

Who bought

The advertiser behind an ad is identifiable, so a publisher knows who is appearing in its app.

Which creative ran

Publishers can see the ads that were shown in their inventory and judge them against their own standards.

How to report an ad

An ad that breaks a publisher's rules or ours can be reported through the contact page, and we act on it under our policies.

How we are paid

Our fee is writteninto the agreement.

The fee model is stated in each agreement, so a customer knows what it pays and for what. No undisclosed margin is taken between the bid and the publisher payment.

No numbers on this page. Fees, minimums and rates are agreed per customer and are not published here.

Supply chain openness

We buy only through declared paths.

Every request we bid on can be traced to a seller who is declared in public files. We publish our own side as well.

  • Our sellers.json will be published at /sellers.json when seller accounts go live
  • Publishers add one line to their app-ads.txt file to authorise us as a seller, and we send the exact line at onboarding
  • The SupplyChain object on requests shows each step the request took

Paths that cannot be verified are removed from consideration. See Quality for how.

A request travels from the app through declared sellers to us, and every step can be checked.

Our promise

What we will alwaystell you.

  1. Material incidents

If something happens that affects your data or your campaign, you hear it from us, without undue delay.

  2. Policy changes

When our advertiser, publisher or supply policies change in a way that matters to you, we say so before it applies.

  3. Sub-processor changes

When a supplier that handles your data is added or replaced, you are told under the agreement.

Questions

Transparency, answered.

Can we see a log of every impression?

Reporting is by app and by outcome. What level of log-level data is available is confirmed during onboarding.

Do you take a margin on top of the publisher payment?

The fee model is stated in the agreement. We take no undisclosed margin between the bid and the publisher payment.

Is your sellers.json live?

Not yet. It will be published once seller accounts are live, and this page will be updated.

How do I authorise MobiRetarget in app-ads.txt?

Add the line we provide to your file. It will be shown on this page once it is confirmed.

How do I report an ad that broke the rules?

Write to us through the contact page with the app, the time and a description. We review it under our policies.
